Nielsen Global Impact Day (NGID)

Last week I was busy with the Nielsen Global Impact day at Pune i.e. NGID Program. Every year Nielsen celebrates a day on 13th June as a global impact day. It is celebrated with all the employees of Nielsen. The motive behind these celebration is, Nielsen believe to create an impact on society by helpful act. Till last year it was called as a Nielsen Day, but from last years we are celebrating this day as, “Nielsen Global Impact Day (NGID)”. This year is special because this year Nielsen is celebrating his 90th birthday. Giant organization in market research with 90 years.
Last year we were at school for donating some school stationary for small student. Even this year the theme based on the CHILD in the society. And this year we are with, “PALAKNEETI PARIWAR”. The organization based at Pune and working for children from slum area. The organization runs different activity to develop the child, like “Palakneeti Magzine, Khelghar, Anand Sankul, Information Center & Sandarbn Binonthly”. Eight member trust run this organization for children’s.

This year the plan was to not only meet these children’s at their development center but also spend some time with them, know these children’s & working of organization. With the same plan we meet them, spend time with children’s, played some games there, we draw some pictures with them, we made collage with them and had a dialogue with children’s to know about their feelings. Full of energy time we spend their with small little wonders.
It was a great afternoon with the tender future of India. Finally we move to end of the program; I found twinkles of expectation in the eye of the small little wonders. The twinkles are about bright future, good education, reliable society, good human being and most important strong nation. And the real charity is safe & bright future in free society; and being Nielsen member I am committed to do that.
